The Carnival
Conquest was the first of the Conquest class ships. The ship debuted
in 2002. The class has grown with the addition of the Freedom, Glory,
Liberty and Valor. The Conquest class ships are 952 feet long and carry 3,730 passengers and 1,180 crew. The ships have 1487 staterooms; 587 Inside, 345 Ocean view, 503 Balcony, and 52 Suites. The ships boast 22 bars and lounges and feature a reservation only Steakhouse. Other amenities featured within the "Conquest-class" include four swimming pools - one with a 214-foot-long cascading water slide and another with a retractable dome in the event of inclement weather - an elaborate 15,000-square-foot health and fitness facility with the latest exercise equipment, workout facilities and private massage/treatment rooms, jogging track, Internet café and expansive meeting/conference facilities.
