The
Carnival Destiny was the first in the Destiny Class. It first sailed
in 1996. The class was modified after the Destiny was launched. This
is reflected in the Triumph class (Carnival Triumph and Carnival Victory).
The ship is 892 feet in length and holds 3,400 passengers and 1,040 crew give or take - depending on the set-up. The class is distinguished by the nine-deck atriums, 200-foot waterslides on their Lido decks, and public areas that often span multiple decks. This ship has outstanding children's facilities, large spa and fitness areas, and a street like promenade. This class does not have a Steakhouse.
